The Santa Ana School Police Department is the 3rd largest school police agency in the State of California and is the primary law enforcement agency for the Santa Ana Unified School District. The Department provides 24-hour a day police services, 365 days to over 49,000 students and 4,600 employees located throughout the District.
Our School Police personnel provide education, intervention, diversion and restorative justice programs aimed at improving the safety and education of our students and staff. As a specialized law enforcement agency, we are committed to working closely with our law enforcement partners in the region to ensure the overall safety and security of our entire District and the community of Santa Ana.
